Spidercide is yet another clone of Peter Parker created by The Jackal. Although to be honest, The Jackal once made literally hundreds of Spider-Man clones all at once, but I won’t be getting into all of those. The unique thing about Spidercide is that in addition to all of Spider-Man’s powers, he has full control over his body at the molecular level! This means he can grow larger and more dense to withstand attacks, he can reshape his body however he wants, such as turning his hands into hammers or giant claws, or stretch his limbs almost like Mister Fantastic. He even once reformed his body when it was frozen and shattered like the T1000 in Terminator 2 (see below).
At first Spidercide believed he was the original Peter Parker and that a clone had taken his place in life. He desperately tried to convince Mary Jane that he was the real Peter, but she didn’t believe him. Later when Spider-Man, Ben Reilly, Kaine, and Spidercide all meet at once, secret mental programming kicked in that he was to kill everyone, including Mary Jane.
While it seems that Spidercide’s powers should make him impossible to kill by any standard means, he was eventually killed when he fell off the roof of the Daily Bugle to the street below. I honestly can’t see how this could have possibly killed him, but there you go.
