Hailing from Atlas City, Aaron Aikman is a doctor working at Ikegami Medical Center where he works and specializes on working with insect venoms. Aaron Aikman got his spider powers when he, on purpose, had his DNA re-sequenced with that of a genetically modified spider, a little similar to Spider-Man 2099. However, in addition to his super human gifts, he also built a technologically advanced suit to enhance his already super abilities. A good example are his spring or hydraulic boots that seem to allow him to jump much further and land safely. With his super powers and cybernetic armour, Aikman dubbed himself The Spider-Man.
As The Spider-Man, Aaron Aikman has managed to defeat several villains over the years, but he was stumped when he started trying to find a villain who called herself Naamurah who kept kidnapping people. While investigating the case, which was taking a REAL DIRE turn, he was suddenly confronted by none other than the Inheritor Morlun, and the story was left hanging. Was he killed? Is his world doomed from Naamurah’s plan? I wonder if we’ll ever know?
